At Six Degrees, we always like to go the extra mile which is why we are making the month of March a full month of events aimed at celebrating and toasting to IWD.
To kick us off, we are hosting an online Female Founder Power Hour on 1st MARCH at 8pm with business strategist, Katherine Dyer, positive mindset champion, Emily McGuirk and female founder and entrepreneur, Sarah Jepson.
We’ve been listening to our community and for some, the start of the year didn’t meet expectations and with unsettling times remaining, not to mention the trials and tribulations of running your own businesses, we wanted to acknowledge all of the amazing things female founders are doing every single day with so we have created a power hour set to inspire, encourage and support every single one of you out there hustling and grinding away on your enterprise.

Emily McGuirk
Small Steps, Big Vision
Emily is the founder of Small Steps Big Vision and is proud to be on the Board of Six Degrees. Having 12 years experience as a teacher, an actress and having had depression herself, she is determined to support young people with strategies for managing stress, anxiety and self doubt. She has recently been shortlisted for ‘Heropreneur of The Year’ by the Veteran’s Charity Heropreneurs and was nominated for Inspirational Leader by the Westcountry Women Awards.
As a mum to Mia, (4) and Monte, (5) a positive mindset, a focus on health and organisation have been key to balancing entrepreneurship, ambition and motherhood.
Sarah Jepson
Founder, Six Degrees
Sarah Jepson is the founder of rapidly growing female-only community, Six Degrees and is also the CEO of Attention Marketing, a PR and marketing agency with over ten years experience helping market well-known brands in the South West and London. Sarah is passionate about female empowerment and is on a mission to grow a global community set to help thousands of women grow both personally and professionally. The club, founded in Exeter, is set for expansion later this year, with national and international franchises launching imminently. Sarah is also raising awareness around domestic abuse and will launch a charity to help women and their children in 2023.
