Seasons of Success
Happy Monday! I hope today is filled with treats and that you will mindfully manage any pesky tricks that may appear.
As of tomorrow we are into November, and at Six Degrees we will be celebrating the Month Of The Entrepreneur.
But before we get our positivity pants on and start celebrating, there will inevitably be some of us who will feel frustrated or disappointed by the year that has been, in terms of career progression or business growth.
Growth is never linear and often looks like a rollercoaster. But it is so easy to become Judgement Judy or Punishment Penny, and be hard on ourselves.
Negative judgements or punishing thoughts, whether they be of others or ourselves, are simply moving us further away from love. It is unhelpful and does not serve us.
When we are in a loving state we are much more likely to attract more of what we want.
We all know we cannot change the past. We must focus on the future, forgive mistakes that we’ve made and let go of the many items that never got done on our ever-growing to-do list.
I love the quote, “I really think a champion is defined not by their wins, but by how they can recover when they fall.” – Serena Williams.
Imagine a world where you, me and everyone around us were kinder to ourselves and forgave any shortcomings. Success comes in seasons. If this has not been your season, maybe the next one will be.
Focus Of The Week
Consider what season your career or business is in now and how that makes you feel.
Autumn – You have seen growth and new opportunities this year but things feel like the are slowing down.
Winter – you are in hibernation and preservation; not much growth happening, no new opportunities or growth and you feel like you are holding on tight to what you have.
Spring – There are a variety of opportunities available to you but perhaps you are hesitant about exploring them? You are meeting new people and having new ideas about what is possible.
Summer – Abundant AF! Free flowing opportunities, fresh leads seeking you out. You know this is where you are meant to be. You are in full bloom and showing the girls what you are made of without hesitation. Even when you are scared you put yourself out there because you know what you have to offer the world matters
